She always wins. Played Rummy for fun, to pass time and to distract her from a long wait for CT scan. This morning, the pulmonary specialists showed up (they always come in a group of three or four, main doctor and three trailing residents or junior doctors in training). They were very serious looking and asked to do all sorts of tests again. Bina ( and I) do not like closed spaces and I knew she was stressed about the CT scan, so we played cards. Turns out all tests are as normal as normal can be:) No serious side effects of second Chemo yet. Bina is a fighter and we know she will fight her way through it too.
This is a picture of a business man selling protein shakes to people who were walking at the beach :)

These are the random pictures I took while getting driven in an air conditioned minivan from Juhu to the hospital in Bandra. Even at 10 am , the temp was in 90's with 85% humidity. It is fascinating ( specially for Shalini) to see the hustle and bustle and to see people going about their daily life .
Grocery store...
Had a wonderful dinner at home. I am learning all sorts of recipes for delicious Indian meals. Played and laughed with Ansh and Anaya, heard from Dipu that Bina is happy, rested and ready to sleep. I think it was another day where we lived in the moment, grateful for what we have and thankful for friends and family. Good night.
