💖💖 May 23
Bina got up by herself, changed and recorded a short video. She walked few steps all by herself and feels good. She says she feels weak ( this is not even 24 hours after the Chemo) but other than that she has no side effects. Chemo drugs have become very efficient, doctors know how to administer them with other anti drugs, Bina's very strong will to live, high pain threshold and support of all the friends far and near made this almost miracle happen. But I also know that lot of people have all this and still suffer a lot. Knowing this and accepting the fact that I really do not understand the details of why and how things happen,We are all very happy as to how the things turn out. I am going to Indore to visit my brother and my childhood friends. I will blog from there too and hopefully mostly happy blogs. I hope Bina will continue to recover and get strength for her new life in Mumbai. I will be back for her last two chemos and then head back home, knowing that she is on great recovery path.

Today, I just rested and talked. We talked about our growing up and mostly laughed about silly things we used to do and how our mother used to grumble. ON the way back I took some pictures of fresh vegetables. All these are illegal squatters but are regular ones so that people get fresh vegetables and fruits everyday. There is abundance of fresh food and very inexpensive too. (Literality) Fresh chicken. They will kill and cut for you. Fresh fish and everything else you can think of is sold here by the street side, mostly by regular but illegal squatters.Back to my brother's home, kids were playing cricket downstairs with the neighbors. I ran around with Ansh for a while and then went to the beach to see the beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean.

I am grateful for what I have and am humbled by the support our family got from far and near. Good night...
